Electrostatic Particulate Ionization
(EPI)

How EPI Removes
Particles from the Air

- EPI creates huge numbers of negative
ions. Negative ions and particles
in the air are
attracted to one another.
- When concentrations of negative ions
are in the air, they will attract
to floating
particles in large numbers. This causes the particles to
act
like magnets. As a
result, the particles will “stick” to each other
and to surfaces.
- Cleaner air means healthier animals.
EPI data shows rapid
payback through improved
livestock performance.
How EPI Controls
Pathogens
- An abundance of negative ions
interferes with the cellular functions
of microbes. The
result is that many microbes are killed by the EPI
system.
- The EPI system is designed to
discharge 10 million billion negative
ions every second.
